Experience

Ms. McQueen has been practicing criminal law both as a prosecutor and a defense attorney for the past 16 years. She has handled more than 70 jury trials with a 95% success rate, and used to instruct police officers and Police Academy trainees. Mindy enjoys a great reputation and receives many DUI referrals from other lawyers and from past and current clients. Her practice is based in Ventura County, and her practice is limited to DUI defense and DMV issues (including negligent operator hearings).

Mindy is a member of the California DUI Lawyers Association, the National College for DUI Defense, California Attorneys for Criminal Justice, Women Lawyers of Ventura County, California Public Defenders Association, Ventura County Criminal Defense Bar, and the California, Ventura County and Alaska Bar Associations. Mindy is the current president of Women Lawyers of Ventura County.

Education

Ms. McQueen graduated from the University of Washington and received her Juris Doctorate degree in 1988 from the University of Denver College of Law.
